School Outreach: Forest Ecosystems Diorama in Science Class

The Forest Regen Climate Initiative proudly presents our School Outreach: Forest Ecosystems Diorama activity, designed to engage elementary students in hands-on learning about forest ecosystems. In this interactive session, students will create their own dioramas to explore the diverse plants and animals that inhabit forest habitats, guided by our enthusiastic educators who will teach them about the interconnectedness of life in these ecosystems while enhancing their creativity and teamwork skills. This fun and immersive experience fosters a deeper understanding of environmental science and inspires a lasting appreciation for nature.

Outreach to K-12 on Trees and Our Environment

Tree Planting Collaboration with We Plant It Forward and Tambra's Place

At the Forest Regen Climate Initiative, we recognize the importance of trees for our community's health, which is why we have partnered with We Plant It Forward and Tambra's Place for a tree planting event to enhance our neighborhoods' greenery. This initiative will not only beautify the environment but also provide shade for outdoor activities, helping Residents connect with nature. The trees will improve local aesthetics and absorb carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas contributing to climate change. By planting trees together, we aim to create a greener, healthier environment for current and future generations. Join us in promoting environmental stewardship among our youth and check out the pictures from our tree planting day that highlight the enthusiasm of our participants!
